About Us
The Curragh Montessori is a unique establishment offering professional childcare and a Montessori education for children from 2yrs and 6 months – 6 yrs. In 2020, we celebrated the 25 year anniversary of The Curragh Montessori School. With a staff who have been with the school for 29 years (Mary), 20 years (Fiona) and 17 years (Debbie) respectively, we pride ourselves in having created a cheerful, little community where staff work together amicably to create a happy and relaxed home from home environment for our children. The physical, psychological, and educational needs of all children will be met by the experienced, professional and caring staff.
The school fulfills all criteria laid down by the governing bodies, it has been notified to, and has been inspected by, Tusla (early years preschool inspectorate) and Pobal.

. Large hall for indoor play area
. 3 easily accessible fire exits
. Ample toilet facilities with specially constructed step-ups

Information on Numbers and Ratios

The Curragh Montessori School will cater for a maximum of 43 children on any one day. The schools’ staff to child ratio is 1:11 in each of the Classes.
Summer Camp:
Following our successful summer camps over the last number of years, we will be holding more in the summer of 2025. The aim of the camps is to provide a fun-filled week in a safe environment with experienced staff. The emphasis for the camp will be on fun, learning through play, and enjoyment at all times.
The camp(s) will be held end of July / beginning August (dates to be confirmed) from 9 a.m. to 12 noon daily and will be open to children from 3 - 6 years. The price of the camp per week will be €75 per child.
